Texture

Dry, scaly or flaky. usually thin in appearance with fine pores.  Premature aging. Loose skin due to elasticity loss and thinness.   

Shining, smooth and beautiful skin or visible problems especially acne. oily T-zone.  Hard and taut skin but may have wrinkling due to dryness and heat.  

Fair skin, thick, fleshy, soft and moist texture, large pores with oily tendency, ages well, not prone to wrinkles.

Complexion color

Skin can look dull with  dark or light complexion.  greyish  looking or sallow skin tone.  Dark circles under eyes

Fair, coppery, pinkish glow, redness, freckles, age spots (hyperpigmentaion)

Whitish, pale.  dull

Weather effect

Very sensitive in dry and cold seasons

sensitive to too much heat  and too much  sun

sensitive when it is humid and cold

Conditions of the skin that can be a problem

Scaling of the skin, rough and dry skin- prone to psoriasis and dry eczema.   loss of elasticity.  Premature aging and fine lines.

Skin may exhibit pimples, blackheads, whiteheads and moles. lips may be prone to cold sores. broken capallaries, rosacea, inflammations.  in females these conditions can become exasperated  during menstruation

Blackheads, whiteheads, cystic type acne and prone to wet eczema.  Skin tags.  Edema, puffy undereye area, double chin.  May experience itching.
